Waikoloa Land Company has a legacy of over 40 years on Hawai‘i island, built upon a rich history dating back hundreds of years to a time when ancient Hawaiians lived and thrived in villages beside the fishponds fronting ‘Anaeho‘omalu Bay.

The royal heritage of the land is respected through names, the sharing of language and customs, and preservation of the land’s most sacred places — including the fishponds and ancient petroglyph fields — that connect the Hawai‘i of today to the Hawai‘i of old.

Born from the passion of Ronald F. Boeddeker, who envisioned an epicenter of community and culture on the Kohala Coast that would be loved and enjoyed by local residents and visitors alike, Waikoloa has become a thriving master-planned community and premier vacation destination, directly and indirectly, supporting over 5,000 local jobs.

The Boeddeker family has lived and worked in Waikoloa for decades with Ronald’s daughter, Cary Krukowski, and her siblings representing the next generation of the Boeddeker family guiding the thoughtful next chapter in Waikoloa’s storied history.
